Manually Add IDM (internet download manager) Extension to Google Chrome

If you have Google Chrome installed on your computer and when you install Internet Download Manager (IDM), it will install its extension itself in the google chrome!

But if it doesn't install or you have reinstalled the google chrome. Then you have to install IDM extension manually.

If you haven't installed Chrome and IDM then -

How to install or add IDM extension in the chrome ?

If you have installed google chrome and internet download manager in your computer, Just follow the below instructions -


1. Go to the folder " C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager " and type "IDMGCEXT.crx" in the folder searching box as shown in the below picture

2. You can see the file named "IDMGCEXT.crx"
NOTE: If you can not find this file then - Click here to download 
And the extract this

3. Open Google chrome and click on the three dots located at the right upper corner near the close button as shown in the below picture.

4. Then Move mouse cursor onto "More tools"  then a window will appear, Click on "Extension"
5. Now drag and move the "IDMGCEXT.crx" to google chrome. see the below picture

6. A small windows will appear, Click on "Add Extension"

It will be installed !
